Sunrise offers a variety of schedules for each age group, listed below. Students must be the age for their classroom by August 31st of the current school year. (Ex: must turn 2 by August 31, 2027 to be in the 2’s class for the 2027-2028 school year). August 31st is the age cutoff for public schools in Wake County, so following their lead assures all students graduate preschool at the right age to start kindergarten! 

 

Our enrollment opens for new students in mid-January each year, and typically spots will fill up quickly. Once all spots are filled we keep a waitlist for interested families. If a seat opens up in any class during the course of the school year we will fill that seat using the waitlist and then on a first come/first served basis. At registration families will complete online paperwork through our “Brightwheel” platform and pay a $200 registration fee to secure their slot. Families will submit up to date immunization records at enrollment, not waivers or exemptions are accepted.

2027-28 Open House: January 13, 2027 at 10:00am. Come for a group tour, meet the staff, and get an overview of the program!

2027-28 Enrollment: January 20, 2027 at 10:00am. Families will turn in applications in person and receive a lottery number for available seats.
