Do you love to sing? Maybe you've always wanted to try out the handbells! Do you play a musical instrument? Maybe you love working with children! Have you always wanted to be in a band? We have a place for YOU in the Music Ministry at Sunrise. Come and join in the fun and fellowship as we praise God though music.

All Groups Welcome
New Members!

Adult Choir- (Kim White-Director) Provides music for the Sunday, 11:00 a.m. worship service. Weekly rehearsals- Thursday, 7:00-8:00 p.m. (Sanctuary). No prior experience needed.

Praise Band- (John Classen-Leader) Provides music for the Sunday, 8:30 a.m. worship service. Weekly rehearsals- Tuesday, 7:30 p.m. (Sanctuary). Some prior instrumental experience needed.

Hispanic Praise Band - Provides music for the Saturday, 7:00p.m. Spanish worship service. Weekly rehearsals - Monday, 7:30pm & Saturday, 6:00 p.m. (Sanctuary).

Children’s Choir- (Kim White & Paula Kaiser - Leaders) Sings for various services throughout the year. Weekly rehearsals-Wednesday, 6:00-6:45pm (in Sanctuary). Open to children ages 5 - Second Grade.

Jr. Youth Choir - (Melissa Edwards - Director) Sings for various services throughout the year. Weekly rehearsals - Wednesday, 7:00-7:45pm (in Sanctuary). Open to children in Third - Fifth Grades.

Handbell Choir- (Kim White -Director) Plays for various services throughout the year. Weekly rehearsals-Sunday, 7:00-8:00 p.m. (Sanctuary). Open to ages fifth grade and up. No prior experience is needed.

Concert Band- (Jim White-Director) Provides special music for services during the year. Rehearsals are scheduled as needed. Open to players of all ages who have had at least one year of playing experience.

Men’s Chorus-(Jim White, Bob Mustian-Contacts) Sings for various services throughout the year. Rehearsals are scheduled as needed. Open to all men. No prior experience is needed.

Youth Praise Band - (Jay Rabon-Contact) Plays for various services throughout the year. Rehearsals Sunday before Youth Group (4:00-5:00 p.m.). Open to middle & high school youth.

Vocalists/Instrumentalists-(Kim White-Contact) Provide special music for services or special events.

The following are some immediate needs of the Sunrise Music / Creative Arts Ministry:

*Instrumentalists and Singers to be a part of the Music Ministry groups.

* Substitute piano accompanist (to fill in as needed for services/programs).

* Vocalists and Instrumentalists to provide special music for Services and Programs.

*Instructor for Liturgical Dance Team.

* Dancers for Liturgical Dance Team. (No dance experience needed).

* Adults to assist with Children’s & Jr. Youth Choirs.
