Sunrise is always looking for new ways
to be in ministry
to accomplish
our purpose of …
"Empowering
all people to become devoted disciples
of Christ."
If
you have an idea for a new ministry, please share it with
our pastor.
We look
forward to you becoming a part
of the fellowship of Sunrise
UMC.
If you have any questions about the church or its ministries talk with any
of
our members. You may also contact our pastor, Ross Carter at the church

• The Men’s Ministry - Men at Sunrise
usually gather for a breakfast meeting to engage in devotional
and fellowship time. The group enjoys outings and service projects
of various types. A spiritual retreat is held each spring.
• Outreach/Mission Ministry - Sunrise is involved with many outreach ministries
on an ongoing basis. The Peru Covenant helps children living in poverty in Peru.
Among others, our members are involved with prison ministry, Adopt-a-Highway, and various community
schools and agencies.
• Sunrise Cafeteria - Sunrise operates one of the church restaurants at
the NC State Fair. Sunrisers enjoy the time of fellowship and work. It is also
a time to touch people on Christ’s behalf.
